Wisdoms Corner

Good Morning, It's a beautiful Wednesday. No I have yet to go outside. Why do I say that? Because 80% of our "bad day" starts at home. Sometimes before we even had the first cup of coffee. We have already said this day is going to suck! Guess what? Your right. This behavior of I stomped my toe and woke up late so screw it attitude. We give up on ourselves before we give ourselves a chance to recover. We have to learn to stop letting the smallest things consume our minds for the next 10 hours. I have 4 steps to get you on the path for a better day. Come on and work.with me. Your already cranky so let's go.

Step One: Define the Problem Clearly. What exactly is the problem? ...

Step Two: Determine the Worst Possible Outcome. ...

Step Three: Resolve to accept the worst, should it occur. ...

Step Four: Expect and Improve the Worst Case Scenario.

Now this is something you can do before you even leave home. To be successful in any arena we have to be able to check those emotions and not be all up in our feelings. We all know why because we all snapped and said and did something we wished we could take back.

One last thing. Stop beating yourself up about something that has passed. You have four steps. Try these on anything in your life and let me know how it goes. It will work if you work it. Also your mood is going to change for the better. Speak life into that issue. Walter Carmickle CEO “Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender; it’s holy ground.
