The Attack of Pearl Harbor

On the date President Franklin D. Roosevelt said "will live in infamy," 2,403 #Americans lost their lives when our nation was attacked at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, by the Empire of Japan.

This National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we solemnly honor and uphold the memory of the patriots who lost their lives and we reflect on the courage of all those who served our Nation with honor.

Earlier today, Old Guard Soldiers with the Joint Armed Forces Color Guard provided support for the observance at the National World War II Memorial.
